Looking for straight teeth but you don’t want to wait around? Then Fast Braces Liverpool at Saving Faces is the perfect solution for you.

Our cosmetic dentistry surgery is one of only a few clinics in the country which currently offers Fastbraces, an orthodontic procedure on the cutting edge of dental technology.

Sab Hussain, BDS is our proud Fastbraces® provider, offering Liverpool patients with a braces technology that is fast, safe and affordable. He has years of experience in administering complex orthodontic treatments and is fantastically understanding when it comes to the individual needs of our patients.

What does the Fast Braces Liverpool treatment consist of?

Our patients firstly visit Saving Faces for an initial consultation. This is what allows us to assess the current positions of your teeth and smile and lets us decide the first steps we will take in your treatment. This is also where we discuss the treatment to come and explain the Fast Braces process and how it will apply to your teeth in particular.

The next step is for us to take a cast of your teeth and once this is done we use the cast to have the wires made. Finally, the wires are fitted to your teeth so that they can get to work. The cast is always good to compare to once your treatment is complete so you can see just how far along your smile has come.

Are Fast Braces right for me?

Fastbraces Liverpool can be used to treat a variety of orthodontic and general dental issues such as:

  • Overbite – your front teeth sticking out
  • Crooked – teeth which are not aligned properly
  • Crowding – teeth that are overly close together and could cross over each other
  • Gaps – spaces between teeth which need to be closed

How is Fastbraces different from other braces?

Fastbraces® are ‘different by design’ and in how they actually move teeth. A lot of braces use square brackets which leaves little room between each bracket, thus allowing less flexibility and movement.

Fastbraces® though make use of triangular brackets which means there is greater flexibility in the wire. This, along with the unique ‘elbow’ design on each bracket means that greater forces can be delivered in order to move the teeth.

Another factor which sets Fastbraces apart is the fact that it does not move the crown and then the root of the tooth in separate stages like other orthodontic treatments. It actually moves both simultaneously. By doing this treatment time is cut down dramatically and you do not need to go for as many checkups.

How long does Fastbraces Liverpool treatments take?

The starting position of your teeth will determine how long your Fastbraces treatment takes at Saving Faces. Usually, however, depending on the severity of your case, you could have straight teeth in anywhere from three months to a year from when you begin treatment.

The benefit of swift treatment time also means that there is less chance of tooth decay as the appliance is on for a shorter period, meaning that you will not get caught out with being unable to clean your teeth properly due to the brace being in the way.
